We present the CASSATA project - Sicilian food.
CASSATA - Sicilian food is the catering of traditional Sicilian cuisine at truly competitive prices available, at the moment, at the CONAD Superstores in Agrigento, Castelvetrano and Petrosino.
You will find traditional Sicilian dishes already known, aiming, above all, at the rediscovery of now lost dishes.
Cassata is a term of Arabic origin "quas'at" which means "basin".
Legend has it that the name of the dessert derives from the use of this container to mix ricotta and sugar.
The juxtaposition of cassata with the name of the project stems from the fact that this dessert expresses pure Sicilian character in its Baroque decorative synthesis.
